ANM board chair, UK Foreign Ministry reps discuss ANC demand for snap election

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Movement (ANM) board chairman Aram Manukyan met with Josephine Gauld, Head of South Caucasus Team of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office of Great Britain and Gareth Wynn Owen, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

At the meeting, the parties focused on social, economic and political situation in Armenia, Armenian National Congress opposition bloc’s demand for snap elections and amendments to electoral code.

Discussion of regional problems, specifically Armenia-Turkey border opening was also on meeting agenda, ANM press service reported.
