MP: 20% income tax should be imposed on over AMD 30 mln profits

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian member of parliament Hayk Sanosyan proposed introduction of amendments to the law on taxation and luxury tax.

As Sanosyan told a news conference in Yerevan, “a 20% income tax should be imposed on profits exceeding AMD 30 million.”

“By doing so we’ll ease the burden of small and medium enterprises, and facilitate SME taxation mechanisms which are yet to be developed in Armenia,” the parliamentarian remarked.
