UN Secretary General may visit Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - The chairperson of the Majlis Human Rights Committee announced that during a recent meeting between an Iranian parliamentary delegation with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, he has promised to travel to Iran in 2012, Mehr news agency said.

MP Zohre Elahian also said that Iranian delegates presented a report on the activities of non-governmental organizations in Iran and said Iran is ready to provide the UN with regular reports.
