Haypost hosts stamp cancellation ceremony on World AIDS Day![]() December 1, 2011 - 20:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 1 Haypost hosted official ceremony of stamp cancellation, dedicated to HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Manager of Haypost CJSC Juan Pablo Gechijian, Haypost acting CEO Hayk Avagyan, Social Mobilization and Partnership Adviser Naira Sargsyan, Director of Armenian National AIDS Prevention Center Samvel Grigoryan attended the event. According to Avagyan, they joined over 10 postal operators from various countries that had also released philatelic products on the occasion of World AIDS Day. Samvel Grigoryan, in turn, noted that Armenia currently faces the problem of public unawareness of HIV/AIDS. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners. The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said. Partner news |
