Heritage: 2011 is the year of lost opportunities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage opposition party’s spokesman named 2011 as the year of lost opportunities to either coalition or opposition.

As Hovsep Khurshudyan noted, summing up political outcomes of 2011, “the opposition failed to achieve the change of power or alter public consciousness. The coalition hasn’t succeeded in bringing about the reforms planned.”

“This year was also one of revelations,” Khurshudyan said, citing WikiLeaks publications as well as Heritage-initiated lustration law.

As the member of ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Hovhannes Sahakyan noted, “to Heritage, not only the year 2011 but the previous 4 were lost vain, the party having failed to accomplish anything of significance, other than initiating a number of public events.”
