25 die in road accident in Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - 25 people died and at least 16 were injured in a road accident in Diyarbakır, southeast Turkey, on Wednesday, December 21.

The accident occurred when a passenger bus collided with a truck on a single-lane road in Diyarbakır's Bismil district. Diyarbakır Governor Mustafa Toprak said 16 passengers were injured, some of them being in serious condition.

Fog in the area had reduced visibility to five meters at the time of the accident, Today’s Zaman reported.
