Death toll in Cairo clashes reaches 16

PanARMENIAN.Net - The death of a protester in the Qasr El -Aini Hospital has pushed the death toll of the clashes in Cairo's Tahrir Square up to 16.

The clashes, which began on December 16, have also left 928 injured, Egypt’s Ministry of Health reported, according to RIA Novosti.

For the 6th day, security forces have been trying to clear the square of protesters who have been calling for an end to Egypt's military rule.
