Azerbaijan continues ceasefire violations in 2012

PanARMENIAN.Net - With the start of 2012, heavy ceasefire violations continued at the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces, with Azerbaijan firing around 90 shots from various caliber weapons towards Armenian positions on December 31-January 1, and 1700 shots towards the front line.

Despite Azeri army’s aggressiveness, NKR forces refrained from retaliatory measures, continuing with their military duty, NKR defense army’s press service reported.
