Iranian Minister unveils two defense projects

PanARMENIAN.Net - Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on Tuesday, Jan 31, unveiled two defense projects on the threshold of the 33rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

The minister inaugurated the mass production line of black boxes suitable for several kinds of aircraft and also a project to improve the intelligent air defense systems for low altitudes.

Addressing the ceremony, Vahidi appreciated efforts of young Iranian scientists in developing the projects which he said are “regarded as big steps in self-sufficiency of the domestic defense industry.”

The annual ten-day ceremonies which mark the victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran will start Feb 1.
