Armenian Foreign Ministry team wins PM Brain Ring CupFebruary 18, 2012 - 09:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan hosted the Prime Minister’s Brain Ring Cup involving teams from the ministries, departments and state institutions of the republic. The team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia beat the team of the Healthcare Ministry 5:0 in the tournament which brought together 24 groups. The State Property Management Department ranked the third. Grigor Saribekyan from Yerevan municipality was recognized the best player of the tournament. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan presented the awards, the Cup, books and certificates to the winners. He congratulated the tournament participants saying hopefully everybody was happy with it. “I’m glad to see the number of participants increase. It will encourage creation of groups tending to engage in healthy intellectual competition,” PM Sargsyan said. He also noted the progress in the work of the Foreign Ministry, and said the victory came to prove it. For his part, leader of the Foreign Ministry’s team Hayk Khemchyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the tournament was organized perfectly. He said the team level was improved, and they succeeded to score a victory in a hard struggle. The tournament was organized with support of the Armenian Association of Intellectuals.
