Death toll in Baghdad blasts rises to 50![]() February 23, 2012 - 14:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The death toll in a wave of bombings and other attacks across Iraq on Thursday, Feb 23, has risen to 50, police and hospital sources said, according to Reuters. The early-morning attacks were conducted against mainly Shi'ite targets in Baghdad and several other towns and cities. On Wednesday, police said gunmen with silenced pistols killed six policemen at a drive-by shooting at a security checkpoint in a Sunni area in northern Baghdad. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
