1000 Syrians cross Turkey border in past 24 hours![]() March 15, 2012 - 13:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Some 1,000 Syrian refugees have crossed the border into Turkey in the past 24 hours, a Turkish official said on Thursday, March 15 a sharp increase in the flow, bringing the total number of registered Syrian refugees in Turkey to some 14,000. "Around 1,000 people crossed the border from Syria to Turkey in the last 24 hours," Reuters quoted the official as saying. "We expect this to continue as long as the operation goes on in Idlib." Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
