PARTICIPATION IN NATO EXERCISE IN AZERBAIJAN AS OBSERVER INADMISSIBLE FOR ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is ready to take part in the Cooperative Best Effort-2004 military exercise to be held in Azerbaijan only as a full participant, that is to be presented by a unit, Armenian defense minister Serge Sargsian told journalists yesterday. In his words, Armenia will by no means agree to participate in the training as an observer. It's not only our responsibility but also our right to be the full member of the exercise, head of the Armenian military department emphasized.
