Madrid principles offending for Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Current tensions in Karabakh conflict zone may result into war, according to Arabo detachment commander Manvel Yeghizaryan.

“Under the circumstances, Armenian authorities should form a brigade of mature officers who can inspire the soldiers in case of necessity,” he told journalists on June 29. “First, the army positions should be fortified. Second, the national policy should be changed and an adequate response given to Azerbaijan.”

Detachment member Ruben Hovhannisyan noted for his part that Armenia’s propaganda is lame. “There are no programs propagandizing patriotism,” he said.

Meanwhile, reserve officer Hakob Hakobyan slammed the Armenian parliament for not ensuring proper living conditions for the Karabakh war participants and their families. “No law was issued in favor of those people,” he said.

Besides, Hakobyan labeled Madrid principles as offending and unfavorable. “We are against this document and once it’s signed we can take action,” he concluded.
