RA MFA disagrees with Grigol Vashadze

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Foreign Ministry disagrees with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, who said that the Russian military base in Gyumri represents a menace for the region.

“The Armenian authorities have numerously expressed opinion on this issue,” RA MFA spokesman Tigran Balayan said, adding that the information spread by the Azerbaijani media contains distorted information, as usual.

“Anyway, high ranking officials from third countries have no authority to interfere in our affairs or make comments on Armenia’s national security issues,” he said.

Balayan also informed that Armenian Foreign Minister had a telephone conversation with his Georgian counterpart on September 8 morning.
