Seyran Ohanyan estimates positively preparatory works for fall draft

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 23, the Armenian Ministry of Defense hosted a sitting of the republican draft board, which summarized the results of the 2010 spring draft and discussed works on the upcoming fall draft.

In his opening remarks, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan attached importance to keeping the society informed of the entire process of the fall draft and securing atmosphere of mutual trust between the army and society. Seyran Ohanyan estimated positively the results of the spring draft and preparatory works for the fall draft.

RA Armed Forces General Staff Chief Yuri Khachaturov delivered a report. Presenting the results of the 2010 spring draft, he referred both to achievements and mistakes.

Seyran Ohanyan instructed to eliminate the mistakes revealed earlier, duly organize the upcoming draft, as well as secure transparency and democratic control, the press service of the RA Defense Ministry reported.
