Seyran Ohanyan: title of Karabakh war veteran imposes certain obligations

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan presided over a meeting of the law enforcement bodies on the results of 2010 that was held in the RA Defense Ministry.

Commenting on the recent incident in the army, which resulted in the death of a young man, Ohanyan noted that the title of the Karabakh war veteran imposes certain obligations. Naturally, the public expects officers, who participated in the war, to display exemplary behavior, said Ohanyan.

He added that the Ministry will continue being intolerant towards any violation of the law to ensure development of the successes gained at the expense of soldiers’ life.

Armenian Deputy Minister of Defense, Major General Vladimir Gasparyan and newly appointed Military Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan also delivered speeches.
