ARFD, RPA working out bill on bodyguards

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) parliamentary group will join Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) in working out a bill on bodyguards.

As ARFD member Hrayr Karapetyan told a news conference in Yerevan, Dashnaktsutyun repeatedly came up with a suggestion to include the bill on parliamentary agenda, yet the discussion kept getting delayed.

During the February 4 meeting of the standing committee on defense, national security and internal affairs, the discussion of a draft law was postponed yet another time.

Karapetyan voiced agreement with Armenian President who stressed the necessity of adopting a law regulating bodyguards’ activities.
