Ter-Petrosyan: not a power can deprive people of Liberty Square

PanARMENIAN.Net - Leader of the Armenian National Congress (ANC), Armenia’s first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan said that a dialogue between the authorities and public will not be established, unless problems related to political prisoners, lifting the ban on holding rallies at Liberty Square and revelation of the March 1-2, 2008, crimes, are solved within several days.

Ter-Petrosyan told the April 8 rally that Liberty Square in not an ordinary place for holding political events; it is a symbol of the people. “And not a power can deprive the people of that symbol,” said Ter-Petrosyan.
