Armenian opposition supporters gathered for rally

PanARMENIAN.Net - Participants of the April 28 opposition rally have arrived in Liberty Square. A PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the scene that the rally has already brought together over 10,000 supporters of the Armenian National Congress (ANC).

ANC representatives and its leader, Armenia’s first president Levon Ter-Petrossian have also arrived at the rally site. The event will start soon.

On April 28, the Armenian authorities for the first time allowed the opposition Armenian National Congress to hold its rally in Liberty Square of Yerevan after the March 1-2, 2008, events.
