Azerbaijan won’t withdraw snipers in near future, expert says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan will not withdraw snipers from the frontline in the near future, according to a military psychologist.

“Armenia’s calls for withdrawal of snipers are not mere words. The refusal costs Azerbaijan a lot, although it knows that snipers will not help to resolve the problem,” David Jamalyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

He reminded that the mediators are calling on the sides to prepare the public for peace, what is, however, impossible without withdrawal of snipers.

“Deploying snipers at the frontline, Azerbaijan tries to exert psychological pressure on Armenians,” Jamalyan said.
