FIRST TOUR OF CONTEST FOR PROGRAMMER TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN JULY 26-27

PanARMENIAN.Net - The first individual tour of the contest for programmers will be held in Yerevan July 26-27, contest organizer Armen Valesian stated in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.NET reporter. In his words, the contest participants will have to do 5 sums. The winners of the individual contest will be given prizes and sent to summer schools in Karabakh. 200 applications have been already handed in. "The average age of the participants is 20, however there are some, who are under 15", Arman Valesian noted. He said that the individual contest will be held "in two shifts" - in the laboratory of Lycos Armenia located in the Yerevan State Engineering University and in the AUA-based laboratory of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation. To note, the contest will be held with the assistance of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Pan-Armenian International Center Foundation and the Union of Information Technology Enterprises. The results of the contest will be summed up by professional jury composed of leading Armenian IT-specialists.
