Ministries of Culture, Sport present tasks at Shant-2015 drill September 7, 2015 - 14:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the last day of Shant-2015 strategic military exercise, Ministries of Culture and Sport presented their tasks in a conventional situation. According to a proposed scenario, the degree of tension in relations with the rival suggested that preparations of military strikes be carried out. The Armenian side took corresponding measures: a tent camp was put up in one of the training ground of the Defense Ministry, where various subdivisions of several army units gathered. The Ministry of Culture presented a concert of national music and dance to boost the soldiers' morale, while the Ministry of Sport organized a meeting with athletes participating in international tournaments of sambo, wrestling and shooting. Deputy Commander of one of the army units said that such cultural events encourage the soldiers, while sports are always important in the army. Shant-2015 military strategic command and staff exercises were held on September 3-6 in Armenia. Shant-2015 aimed to recheck the immediate defense preparedness of the State, the mobilization preparedness of the state and military governing bodies for repulsing aggression and the capability to bring to a high degree of readiness and to raise the level of harmony in actions and interactions.
