Heifer Project International organizing discussion on gender equality in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heifer Project International Armenian Branch Office is organizing a Round Table/discussion on "Gender Equity and Rural Women in Armenia" in Yerevan on April 6, 2010.

The participants are NGO and state representatives, community leaders from rural communities of Armenia. The agenda includes presentations on gender equity strategy of Heifer International, situational analysis of rural women in Armenia, as well as working in groups at salient issues.

The deliverable of the Round Table will be recommendations to policy makers in Armenia on gender equity with focus on rural population.
