Canada to host fundraising ball for Armenian Church construction

PanARMENIAN.Net - A fundraising ball for the benefit of the Holy Cross Armenian Church will take place in Embassy Plaza, Laval, Canada on April 10, 2010. Well-known Armenian singer Suzan Margaryan as well as Kevork Artinian & Friends will be participating.

As one of organizers of the event, Anahit Ohanian, told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, on the same day the foundation of the church will be consecrated. 10 clergymen, who contributed near $30 thousand for the construction will also be present at the ball.

“The funds have been donated only by individuals so far,” Ms. Ohanian said.
