Armenian Prime Minister awards gold medals to World War II veterans![]() May 8, 2010 - 15:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the eve of World War II victory 65th anniversary celebration, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan awarded gold medals to 14 veterans. “I’m highly honored to bestow these medals. Your victories and the hardships you overcame are held in high esteem. I’d also like to extend my congratulations to Karabakh war winners, guided by the noble example of World War II participants,” PM Sargsyan said in his May 8 congratulatory address. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
