Hranush Hakobyan awarded with Golden Holy Cross medal of Holy Trinity Church in Canada

PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 3, Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received a delegation of the Armenian community of Toronto (Canada), including Pastor of the Holy Trinity Armenian Church of Toronto, Archpriest Zareh Zargarian, head of the church’s spiritual council John Saturian, Crediting Expert at the Canadian Royal Bank Khoren Mardoian, dance instructor of Toronto’s Sasun dance group Joe Avagian and others.

The RA Minister of Diaspora briefed the guests on goals and objectives of the RA Ministry of Diaspora, referring to main principles in the policy on cooperation between Armenia and the Diaspora. Hakobyan also presented legislative reforms implemented at the initiative of the RA Ministry of Diaspora to improve the situation of Diaspora representatives in Armenia.

Father Zareh Zargarian awarded the Minister with Golden Holy Cross medal of the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. “The Fatherland is our home with its happy and sad moments. We are going to leave with inspiration to work more diligently,” said Father Zareh Zargarian.
