ArmenTel employees donate blood for children diagnosed with leukemia

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of VimpelCom-initiated Good Will Action, ArmenTel CJSC employees donated blood for children diagnosed with leukemia.

“We believe that our contribution can help sick children and their families, imparting them a bit of hope,” ArmenTel CJSC CEO Igor Klimko emphasized.

Representative of Republican Hematological Center Marina Kamalyan, in turn, thanked ArmenTel employees for their contribution. As she noted, hospitals in Yerevan are in serious need of donor blood. “As of today, there are 15 thousand permanent donors in Armenia, with only 7% of those voluntarily agreeing to donate.”

All blood components, collected within action framework, were transferred to relevant medical institutions.

Besides Armenia, donor actions were organized in Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
