Yerevan marks International Students DayNovember 17, 2010 - 15:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 17, All-Armenian International Youth Center held in Yerevan an event dedicated to the International Students Day. Chairman of the center Andranik Nikoghosyan congratulated participants, noting that despite numerous unresolved problems, Armenian students are well aware of their importance in any field. “It would be impossible to solve many problems faced by our state without your participation, skills and efforts,” Nikoghosyan said. All-Armenian International Youth Center was established in April 2008 to unite the Armenian youth around common values. Being politically independent, the center attaches importance to preservation of historical memory, military and patriotic education of youth, as well as boosting the Armenian-Russian relations. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
