Minors participate in HSBC Bank Armenia tree planting events

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the beginning of this year, HSBC Bank Armenia introduced a new cumulative minor deposit product and committed to plant a tree in the name of a child for each minor deposit opened.

Two tree planting events took place on April 10 and 17 at Oghakadzev and Nor Nork parks of Yerevan city, with more than 600 children and parents participating. Each child was provided with a special tree plaque to write his or her name on and a green “passport” with details of the location and image of their tree.

“We wanted to link minor deposits with tree planting, as it is such a positive and environmentally friendly activity. Also, the idea of parents seeing their child grow together with the child’s tree and savings is culturally appealing to Armenians, as it is associated with family, roots and generations,“ said Astrid Clifford, Chief Executive Officer HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc.
