World weightlifting champion Nazik Avdalyan gets in car crash

PanARMENIAN.Net - European and world champion, female weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan got in a car crash and was taken to Gyumri hospital.

As the chief coach of Armenian weightlifting team Artashes Nersisyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Avdalyan got multiple bone fractures and a spine injury. She will be transferred to Yerevan's Erebuni medical centre for additional examination.

Mikaelyan is currently training for the Under-23 World Championships to be held in Almaty in February.
