“European Perspectives in the Context of Eastern Partnership and the Process of Negotiation of Association Agreement” international conference kicked off in Yerevan on November 26, 2010.
Arthur Baghdasaryan and the European Commission’s Director for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia discussed signing of Association Agreement between Armenia and the EU.
Agreements on visa regime relaxation and readmission between Armenia and the European Union may be signed prior to conclusion of Association Agreement.
The decision demonstrates the EU’s commitment towards its Eastern neighbors in realizing the opportunity to widen and deepen relations with the EU within the framework of the Eastern Partnership initiative.
