Events Marking Armenian Genocide Closing in ItalyNovember 15, 2005 - 17:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - November 12 Armenian Ambassador to Italy Ruben Shugaryan took part in the closing of the events commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The events were organized by the Union of Armenians of Italy, Tsiatsan (Rainbow) company and Giorgio Perlasca Foundation. Thereupon, a bronze sculpture made by Movses Guloyan was set in the yard of Padov City Administration building, the State Commission for organizing events marking the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide told PanARMENIAN.Net Padov Mayor, representatives of the Armenian and Jewish communities participated in the ceremony. In his statement R. Shugaryan specially stressed the events organized in Italy and worldwide that mark the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
