Russia opposes imposing of solutions on Karabakh conflict sidesJune 25, 2009 - 12:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The final decision on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be taken by the sides themselves, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement."We will back any decision admissible for the involved sides and will be the guarantor of a compromise agreement. Russia opposes imposing of solutions from outside. Only a decision which will bring stability and peace to the region will be viable," it said. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
