Polish President Lech Kaczynski killed in plane crash

PanARMENIAN.Net - Polish president Lech Kaczynski and his wife Maria were killed Saturday in a Tupolev Tu-154 plane crash on approach to Smolensk airport in western Russia.

Mr. Kaczynski was due to visit Smolensk to mark the 70th anniversary of the Katyn massacre.

Officials say at least 132 people aboard have been killed but provide no details on their identity.
