Azerbaijani-American military exercises postponed

PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu said that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed information about postponement of the Azerbaijani-American military exercises scheduled for May 2009.

“However, I do not know the reasons for it. There is need in examination,” he added.

In accordance with the agreement on Azerbaijani-American bilateral military cooperation, Regional response – 2009 joint exercise was held in Azerbaijan last April. It was planned to hold similar exercises this year as well, RIA Novosti reported.
