Working group on struggle against corruption to be created under Eastern Partnership initiativeMay 3, 2010 - 21:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Kazinyan participated in the second meeting of Democracy, Good Governance and Stability platform of the EU Eastern Partnership initiative on April 29. The meeting brought together representatives of EU members and six partner countries. The Deputy Foreign Minister stressed during the meeting that Armenia emphasizes the importance of the Eastern Partnership initiative and expressed Armenia's willingness to actively cooperate within this format. Kazinyan referred to reforms implemented in Armenia, specifically, to the measures undertaken by the Armenian government to tackle corruption. During the meeting it was decided to create a working group on struggle against corruption under Democracy, Good Governance and Stability platform. The group will consist of representatives of relevant fields of the EU members and partner countries, the press service of the RA Foreign Ministry reported.
