Bako Sahakyan: foreign observers’ participation in elections will contribute to NKR electoral system improvement

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 19, NKR President Bako Sahakyan met with former OSCE special envoy in Caucasus, representative of French office of the Institute of Democracy and Cooperation Maurice Bonnot who arrived in Artsakh in the capacity of an observer to parliamentary elections.

May 23 National Assembly elections, as well as domestic and foreign policy of the republic were discussed during the meeting.

The parties emphasized the importance of foreign observers’ participation in the elections to contribute to improvement of NKR electoral system, Central Information Department at NKR President’s Office reported.
