Free Motherland claims victory in NKR parliamentary electionsMay 24, 2010 - 12:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 70% turnout (67462 out of 95303 voters) was registered in the parliamentary elections in Artsakh Republic, the chairman of the Central Election Committee said. “The final results will be announced at 8 pm but we will try to accomplish the counting of votes by 4 pm,” Sergey Nasibyan said. According to preliminary data, Free Motherland party garnered 45% of votes, followed by Democratic Party of Artsakh (30%) and ARF Dashnaktsutyun (22%). The Communist Party failed to gain 6% of votes, a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from Artsakh. The NKR CEC has not received any complaint yet.
