  Iran successfully test-fires new Qiam-1 surface-to-surface missile August 20, 2010 - 19:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran successfully test-fired its new Qiam-1 surface-to-surface missile, Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said, according to the state-run Mehr news agency. Qiam-1 uses liquid fuel and has a so-called smart targeting system, Vahidi said. Mehr didn’t give details of the weapon’s range, Bloomberg reported.
