Georgian MFA: we have no reason to suspect Armenia of undermining regional security

PanARMENIAN.Net - The decision to extend the Russian base deployment terms in Armenia is the right of two sovereign states, Georgia’s Deputy Foreign Minister said.

“Armenia realizes the menace Russia represents for Georgia and we have no reason to suspect our neighbor of undermining regional security,” Civil.ge quoted Nino Kalazdadze as saying.

The decision to extend the Russian base deployment terms in Armenia was taken during Russian President’s visit to Armenia on August 20, 2010.
