Kuwaiti parliament speaker invited to ArmeniaAugust 25, 2010 - 14:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 23, Armenia’s Ambassador to Kuwait Fadey Charchoghlyan met with speaker of the Kuwaiti parliament Mohammed Jassem Al-Kharafi to discuss opportunities for boosting inter-parliamentary relations between Armenia and Kuwait. Regional developments were also in the focus of the meeting. Mr. Al-Kharafi informed that formation of the Armenian-Kuwaiti parliamentary friendship group is underway. Ambassador Charchoghlyan, for his part, conveyed invitation of RA National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to his Kuwaiti counterpart to visit Armenia, the RA MFA press service reported. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. Partner news |
