  Malta’s Armenian Diaspora categorically refuses to participate in Aktamar’s liturgy September 7, 2010 - 18:13 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - Malta’s Armenian Diaspora has been closely following the restoration of Holy Cross Armenian church on the island of Van. We believe a cross on the dome of a church to be a necessity. Turkish authorities’ statements as to the technical impossibility of establishing a cross are completely unfounded, Malta’s Armenian Diaspora press service said. “Malta’s Armenian Diaspora fully supports the position of the Armenian Apostolic Church and public organizations who refused to participate in the September 19 liturgy. We hope that the country, which set the EU bid as a priority, will adhere to European values in practice,” Malta’s Armenian Diaspora press service said.
