Georgia closes Upper Lars in revenge to Armenia's voting against its resolution in UN

PanARMENIAN.Net - 10 Armenian trucks with Russia-bound grapes have been kept at Georgia's Upper Lars checkpoint for 2 days already.

As PanARMENIAN.Net came to know from diplomatic sources, the reasons of detainment of the Armenian cargo are being clarified.

Meanwhile, informed sources say that Georgia closed the checkpoint in revenge to Armenia's voting against its resolution in the UN. Some say that the checkpoint was blocked at request of Turkey, which wants to oust Armenian grapes from the Russian market.
