Rep. Michael McMahon, member of Congressional Azerbaijan Caucus, has said that Azerbaijan is United States’ irreplaceable partner in combating terror and is a significant energy corridor in the South Caucasus. “Bryza has broad practical experience in the South Caucasus. I am hopeful that the Senate will confirm his candidacy and will not jeopardize the U.S. interests in the region,” Azeri-Press Agency quoted McMahon as saying.
