Newly-appointed Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia promises support to Armenian community of Ukraine

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 24, Kyiv hosted a meeting between the President of the National Congress of Armenians of Ukraine Ashot Avanesyan and newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia, Ivan Kukhta.

The parties focused on activities aiming to activate Armenia-Ukraine relations and achieve Ukraine’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide. Ivan Kukhta, in turn, expressed his support to the implementation of tasks set, Analitika.at.ua reported.

Ivan Kukhta was appointed as the Ambassador to Armenia by the decree of the Ukrainian President. Previously, Ivan Kukhta occupied consular position at Ukrainian Embassy in Russia.
