Armenia appreciates Switzerland’s mediation for international issues resolution

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 29, Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Micheline Calmy-Rey.

Speaker Abrahamyan emphasized the importance of bilateral relations development, specifically noting Switzerland’s mediation for resolution of international issues, parliamentary press service reported.

“Armenia appreciates Switzerland’s support in implementation of socio-economic reforms and normalization of relations with Turkey… Opening of Swiss Embassy in Armenia will stimulate multilateral relations between the countries,” Abrahamyan stated.
