  Azerbaijan increases defense budget but is unable to take care of its soldiers October 13, 2010 - 17:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan continuously increases the budget of its Defense Ministry, but is unable to take care its of soldiers’ well-being. As reported by the Azeri-Press Agency, 22-year-old soldier of the Azerbaijani national army, Asadov Sadig Murshud Oglu, died on October 12 of frostbite. The incident was registered at the line of contact between the Azerbaijani and NKR armed forces, near Murovdagh settlement.   Top stories Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. In 2023, the Azerbaijani government will increase the country’s defense budget by more than 1.1 billion manats ($650 million). The bill, published on Monday, is designed to "eliminate the shortcomings of an unreasonably broad interpretation of the key concept of "compatriot". The earthquake caused a temporary blackout, damaged many buildings and closed a number of rural roads.
