Germany speaks out for opening of Armenian-Turkish border

PanARMENIAN.Net - Germany stands for opening of the Armenian-Turkish border, German President said.

“We support the normalization process between the two countries and hail Turkey’s efforts to that end,” Christian Wulff said in his address to the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

“Opening of the border will be a useful factor for regional stability,” he said.

As to the Cyprus problem, Wulff said it should be resolved on the basis of mutual respect, Radikal reported.
