LDPR parliamentary group opposes initiating a criminal case against Ashot Yegiazaryan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) parliamentary group will not organize a demarche on possible Chamber resolution allowing Ivestigating Committee to initiate a criminal case against LDPR parliamentary group member Ashot Yegiazaryan. However, the parliamentary group will categorically oppose the resolution, LDPR parliamentary group leader Igor Lebedev stated.

He also expressed hope for Yegiazaryan to issue a statement, explaining the situation formed, Interfax reported.

Yegiazaryan is suspected of serious fraud, punishable with 10-year imprisonment based on article 159 of Russia’s Criminal Code. Officers of Justice accuse him of 200 million rubles’ debt. LDPR parliamentary group member’s cruiser and Ferrari car has already been confiscated.
